New Zealand Agri-business Mission members with NZTE representatives and staff of the Moscow Embassy

The Embassy was pleased to support a highly successful visit to Russia from 20-24 May by leading New Zealand agri-business companies, and representatives of New Zealand government agencies involved in promotion of trade and investment, and policy relating to agri-business.

Participants in the mission met Russian companies, business organisations and central government agencies to exchange information and explore the scope for expanding bilateral cooperation and commercial partnerships involving New Zealand and Russian enterprises.

New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE - the state trade and investment agency) announced the appointment of Mikhail Sobolev to the new position of Business Development Manager in the New Zealand Embassy, Moscow, with a primary focus on agri-business.  Mikhail Sobolev will be based at the Embassy from the beginning of July.
