Team Administrator (Property)
The New Zealand High Commission, Apia, is seeking a locally employed Team Administrator (Property). Responsibilities are primarily focused on managing the property portfolio of the New Zealand High Commission. This role also has responsibility for procurement, IT/communications and arranging diplomatic clearances.
The successful applicant will be proactive, have attention to detail, and be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of property and budget management. Excellent computer skills and a strong knowledge of information technology are also required. Applicants must also be able to demonstrate a high standard of organisational and administrative skill, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work cooperatively and supportively in a team environment. Hands on experience with property maintenance and a mechanical aptitude would be helpful, but more important is the proven ability to plan, organise and execute a work programme to achieve an efficient, cost effective outcome in managing the property portfolio.
The successful applicant must have the ability to work legally in Samoa. Excellent English language skills are required. A facility with the Samoan language would be an advantage.
