'Visa on arrival' for GCC nationals on short visits
New Zealand is 'visa on arrival' for GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) nationals wishing to visit New Zealand for short tourist holidays or business trips, up to three months.
Please note: For travel via Australia to New Zealand, a transit visa for Australia may be required.
Visitor, work and student visa applications
Applications for visitor, work and student visas from nationals of countries to which the New Zealand Embassy, Riyadh are accredited (Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Oman) are processed by the Immigration New Zealand office, co-located in Dubai with the New Zealand Consulate-General.

Residency applications
Applications for residency to New Zealand from nationals of countries to which the New Zealand Embassy, Riyadh are accredited (Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Oman) are all processed at the Bangkok branch of Immigration New Zealand: Email: nzisbangkok@dol.govt.nz. GCC nationals should complete the Self-Assessment Guide for Residence by connecting to the NZIS website as above.
