Visitor's visas
Citizens of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates do not need a visa to travel to New Zealand for a stay of up to three months. However, you must:
- hold a valid return or outward ticket to a country where you have the right of entry;
- be able to show you have sufficient money to support yourself during your stay - NZ$1000 for each month of your stay;
- hold a passport valid for three months beyond the date you are leaving New Zealand;
- only visit for the time granted on arrival.
If you intend to stay in New Zealand longer than three months you will need to apply for a Visitor’s Visa. Please check the requirements set out in the Application for a Visitor's Visa Information Sheet.
Forms for the Visitor's Visa can be downloaded from the Immigration New Zealand website.
The New Zealand Embassy in Riyadh does not issue visas for New Zealand. The New Zealand Immigration Service has an office in Dubai that is responsible for processing New Zealand visa applications.
