Passport application and renewal

The New Zealand Embassy in Riyadh does not issue or renew passports. This service is provided by the Department of Internal Affairs (DIA) passport offices in Wellington, London and Sydney. Only these offices are authorised to issue or renew passports.

The DIA website provides comprehensive information as to how New Zealanders may apply for, or renew passports. The website also provides access to the relevant application forms.

In some instances the New Zealand Embassy in Riyadh can assist with the facilitation of passport applications to New Zealand. Currently the handling fee for this service is SAR120* (only one handling fee is required per family/group).
