From 25 March 2013 the Immigration New Zealand office in Singapore will no longer receive visa applications.

All applications that were previously received by this offices should be sent by mail or courier to the New Zealand Visa Application Centre (VAC) in  Singapore. For full details please follow this link.

BackgroundVictoria University of Wellington (VUW) established these PhD scholarships in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT) to recognise New Zealand’s strong commitment to active engagement with the ASEAN region. These scholarships ensure that the New Zealand-ASEAN Scholars programme is comprehensive in its regional scope.
Purpose of award
Victoria offers four scholarships per year to PhD applicants from Singapore and Brunei (two awards are made to Brunei and two to Singapore).

We wish to inform that the annual electrical shutdown in our building will be carried from 4.30pm Tuesday, 2 October until approximately 10am Wednesday, 3rd October.

During this period the electricity supply to our office will be shut down and our phone system will not be working.

New Zealand Reserve Bank Governor to lead APEC Secretariat

Vladivostok, Russia, 6 September 2012 – During their meeting on Thursday in Vladivostok, APEC Ministers welcomed the successful selection and appointment of New Zealand Reserve Bank Governor Dr Alan Bollard who will be the Secretariat's second Executive Director for a fixed term. He was introduced to APEC Ministers on Thursday.
