ANZAC Dawn Service draws large crowd to Kranji

Around 1,000 people gathered at Singapore’s Kranji War Memorial on 25 April for the ANZAC Day Dawn Service, this year hosted by New Zealand in collaboration with Australian counterparts.

Every year growing numbers of New Zealanders and Australians living in Singapore, joined by representatives from many resident diplomatic missions, business and community organisations and Singaporeans, brave the early start to remember the sacrifices made by others.  New Zealand High Commissioner Bernadette Cavanagh’s speech offers perspectives on this year’s commemoration (please click on link below).
