What the High Commission does

The New Zealand High Commission in Honiara manages New Zealand’s political, economic, trade and aid relations with Solomon Islands. It also offers visa processing services for Solomon Islanders wishing to travel to New Zealand.

The High Commission provides consular services to resident and visiting New Zealanders, including emergency advice and assistance in the case of arrests, hospitalisation, passport issues etc.

New Zealanders resident in Solomon Islands are encouraged to register with the post in person or by email in order to receive updates and information.

The High Commission is also accredited to Nauru.
