ANZAC Day Dawn Service

This year the ANZAC Day Dawn Service in Honiara is to be hosted by the Australian High Commission.

The service will be held at the Cenotaph next to the Central Police Station, Honiara, commencing at 5.45 am, Monday 25 April.

Members of the public are asked to arrive at 5.30 am. It is recommended that  you bring a torch and an umbrella.

Following the service everyone is welcome, including children, to attend the traditional gunfire breakfast to be held at the Point Cruz Yacht Club.

The New Zealand High Commission has poppies for distribution. These are available at Reception in the City Centre Building. There is no charge for poppies.

Poppy day this year is Thursday 21 April. Poppies will also be distributed at the service.
