Acquisition of Citizenship

The following documents can be obtained from the Department of Internal Affairs in New Zealand.

• Registration of citizenship by descent
• Extra copy of certificate
• Declaration of Renunciation of Citizenship
• Grant of Citizenship under Citizenship Act 1977
• Grant of Citizenship under Section 7(1) of the Citizenship (W Samoa) Act 1982
• Confirmation Certificate of NZ Citizenship (Section 21 (1))
• Replacement Certificate of Birth (also Marriage and Death Certificates)
