Redeeming the Past, book launch flyer

The memoir, "Redeeming the Past.  My journey from freedom fighter to healer" by Father Michael Lapsley SSM, NZ's Honorary Consul in Cape Town, will be launched in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban in early September 2012.

Father Michael was sent to South Africa as a young New Zealand cleric.  In the process of opposing apartheid he became the victim of a letter bomb in Zimbabwe which severely injured him.  This is his story and that of the Institute for the Healing of Memories, which he founded and which now works internationally with victims of suffering and oppression of all kinds (www.healing-memories.org).  For the past several years, Father Michael has also been New Zealand’s Honorary Consul in Cape Town.
