New Zealand General Election and Referendum: Results Information

A General Election and Referendum on the MMP system was held in New Zealand on Saturday 26 November.  

The Electoral Commission declared the official results for the 2011 General Election and Referendum on the Voting System on 12 December.

Also on 12 December the Electoral Commisson announced the process and timetable for the MMP review, as provided for in the Electoral Referendum Act 2010.
