Ambassador Patrick Rata and all of the Embassy staff congratulate the New Zealand team on their outstanding participation in the 2013 Special Olympics World Winter Games in PyeongChang, South Korea.  

By the close of the Games on 5 February, the team managed to win three gold medals, six silver medals and nine bronze medals. 10 New Zealand athletes competed in snowboarding and alpine skiing, supported by seven management staff.
