New Zealand - Sweden Working Holiday Scheme

The Working Holiday Scheme provides an opportunity for young people from New Zealand and Sweden to spend up to 12 months in each other's country, with the objective of combining a holiday with work experience.

Opportunities offered by this scheme are proving increasingly popular and enhance the people-to-people links between New Zealand and Sweden.

Opportunities for young New Zealanders

The New Zealand - Sweden Working Holiday Scheme offers an opportunity for young New Zealanders aged between 18 and 30 to visit Sweden for a period of up to twelve months, with the object of combining a holiday with work experience.

A Working Holiday Visa can be applied for at any Swedish Embassy or Consulate in New Zealand or any country that you are currently residing in.

The application should be filed at least six weeks before you plan to enter Sweden.
