United Nations Handbook Launch - 2013

The New Zealand Permanent Mission in Geneva held a special Launch Party to promote the 51st edition of United Nations Hand Book (2013-2014) and also the new Mobile Applications. The key note speakers were HE Amanda Ellis, New Zealand Permanent Representative and HE Mr Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Director-General of the United Nations Office in Geneva, who particularly mentioned that he would like the Launch to be a yearly event.

The Permanent Representatives: HE Mr. Omar Hilale (Morocco); HE Ms. Tan Yee Woan (Singapore); HE Ms. Iruthisham Adam (Maldives); HE Ms. Vesna Vuković (Croatia); HE Mr. Pedro Comissário (Mozambique on behalf of the Africa group) each spoke of what the UN Handbook personally means for them in their work, as well acknowledging New Zealand's important contribution to the United Nations by producing the Handbook.

The Launch Party for the UN Handbook was extremely well attended and the guests seemed to have a lot of fun!
