The receiving office for New Zealand visa applications is about to change. From 10 December 2012, applications can no longer be lodged with the New Zealand Consulate-General in Geneva, and instead need to be sent to the New Zealand Visa Application Centre (VAC) in London. If you reside in the UK, you can submit your application to the VAC in person.

Applications are only required from people who need a visa to visit New Zealand. Visitors from visa waiver countries, including Switzerland, can travel to New Zealand visa free.

Immigration New Zealand is committed to ensuring a smooth transition for its customers and is working closely with the New Zealand Consulate-General in implementing this change.

As well as the relevant visa fee, the VAC will charge a facilitation charge of £24.00 per application. Please refer to the website of TT Services, Immigration New Zealand’s agent, for information regarding courier options for the return of passports and original documentation, and for payment options. All fees are charged in Great British Pounds.
