“Why resilience matters for development”.
New Zealand and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) co-hosted an Ambassadors’ luncheon discussion with the UNDP Administrator Ms Helen Clark on “Why resilience matters for development”. on the 24 June 2014, at the Palais des Nations, Geneva, Switzerland.
The discussion approached the issue from a number of angles and fostered an exchange of views on this important topic. The UNDP Administrator Ms Clark opened the discussion before co-chairs led their Ambassadorial colleagues in thematic exchanges on pressing development questions. Following these exchanges, guests had a chance to engage directly with Ms Helen Clark.
