Preparations are under way for the 2011 General Election and Referendum on the voting system. Election day in New Zealand is Saturday, 26 November 2011.

You can choose to vote at the New Zealand High Commission Nuku'alofa from Wednesday 9 November to Friday 25 November. Voting hours are 9:00am to 12:00 noon, and 2:00pm to 4:30pm, except on Friday 25 November when voting closes at 4:00pm.

You can also ask the High Commission to provide postal voting papers by calling in person, or phoning 23-122.
