Team Administrator Finance

The New Zealand Embassy in Ankara is seeking a Team Administrator Finance to be responsible for day to day financial functions, financial reporting, and for property and contract management.
In this position, you will prepare invoices for payment, receipt monies and generate associated entries in our financial management information system. You will undertake end of month financial procedures including the monthly bank reconciliation, and analyse expenditure patterns. You will maintain the Embassy’s asset register and ensure that regular inventory checks are carried out. You will also undertake regular liaison with Embassy contractors, to monitor contract compliance and to ensure contracts are current.
You will have experience in financial administration and be comfortable working as part of a small team. You will also need to demonstrate strong English communication skills, relationship building skills, customer focus and attention to detail.
The successful applicant will be employed on local terms and conditions and must have the right to work in Turkey. Obtaining and maintaining the appropriate working visa is the responsibility of the applicant and any offer of employment will be subject to this. In addition, relocation to Ankara is to be undertaken at the expense of the applicant.
