Applicants from Georgia intending to visit New Zealand for the Rugby World Cup
If you are a Georgian national intending to visit New Zealand for the Rugby World Cup (9 September-23 October 2011) you must submit your application to Immigration New Zealand in London.
All applications will need to be couriered directly to the London Branch no later than 12 August 2011 to the attention of Aaron Smith and Noel Forde. The London branch postal and physical address is:

Applications
All visitor visa application must include:
A completed Visitor Visa application form. This can be downloaded and printed from here:
Your passport (please ensure it is valid for at least 3 months after your intended departure date from New Zealand)
2 x passport-sized photos
The application fee, payable by credit / debit card (we accept all types of card except American Express). The fee is currently £70.00 – you should check the Immigration New Zealand fees calculator for updated fees nearer the time you apply:
Evidence that you have sufficient funds to support yourself during your stay in New Zealand (refer to the “guide for applying for a visitor visa” for further information:
A copy of your proposed flight itinerary, if you have one (please do not pay for flights until your visa has been confirmed)
Evidence of your employment in Georgia, if you are currently employed
Please note: You should include a covering letter with your application that clearly identifies that you intend to visit for the Rugby World Cup.
Applications from Partners and dependent children of people participating in the RWC (teams, VIPs, match and tournament officials, venue operations and accredited Media and accredited broadcasters)
If you are the partner or dependent child of a participant you do not need to pay the application fee. You will need to provide a copy of your partner or parent’s letter of invitation with your application.
Please note: You should include a covering letter with your application that clearly identifies that you intend to visit for the Rugby World Cup. Please state if you are travelling with your partner or parent or travelling independently.
Returning your passport
The London branch usually returns passports via International Recorded Delivery. However, it is highly recommended that you use a courier service to guarantee the safety of your passport.
If you would like the London branch to return your passport via DHL courier, they can arrange this for you at a cost of £26.00. You will need to clearly state in your covering letter that you authorise INZ London to take this fee from your credit / debit card details.
Transit visas for other countries
Please note that you may be required to obtain a transit visa for another country in order to travel to New Zealand. If you are transiting Australia on your travels, you will need to apply to the Australian Department of Immigration and Citizenship for this. For further information, please visit their website here:
If you do require a transit visa for another country, please ensure you submit your New Zealand visa application by 22 July 2011 to allow you to plenty of time to apply for a transit visa afterwards.
