New Zealand High Commission London, United Kingdom
Passport, Births, Deaths and Marriages, and Citizenship Office
The Department of Internal Affairs works closely with the New Zealand High Commission to provide citizenship, passport and Births, Deaths and Marriages services to New Zealanders in the United Kingdom and wider Northern Hemisphere including the Americas and Africa.
The office issues passports to both first time applicants and those renewing expired passports. It can also issue replacements for lost of stolen passports.
The Department of Internal Affairs London office also issues citizenship certificates to people born outside New Zealand after 1 January 1978, who, at the time of their birth, had a mother or father who was a New Zealand citizen other than by descent. This means the parents must have been born in New Zealand or acquired New Zealand citizenship by naturalisation or grant.
Contact the London Office by email for enquiries concerning New Zealand Passport and Citizenship matters including marriage in New Zealand and New Zealand birth, death and marriage certificates:
Births, Deaths & Marriages is also part of the Department of Internal Affairs.
