Vacancy: Policy Adviser (Defence & Security) at the New Zealand High Commission, London

The New Zealand High Commission in London is looking for someone with strong policy and research skills and experience in dealing with defence and security issues.  Please refer to the attached position description which outlines more fully the responsibilities, qualifications and experience required. This is a locally employed position, with terms and conditions set in accordance with UK employment regulations.  The High Commission does not provide assistance with accommodation or airfares.

Applicants must be able to obtain a New Zealand Government security clearance to a high level and the right to live and work in the UK.  Starting salary is in the range of £32,400 to £34,300 per annum depending on previous experience and skills.
