Ash Cloud Flight Disruptions

Volcanic ash clouds from an eruption in Iceland have disrupted flights throughout much of Europe. It is not known when airspace restrictions will be lifted allowing flights to resume.

New Zealanders with travel plans to Europe are advised to contact their airline or travel agent to check whether their particular flights have been affected. If your travel plans have been disrupted you should contact your travel insurer to check what policy provisions apply.
