Sing for the Queen
Can you sing? Do you want to take part in the Queen’s Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant on 03 June? Auditions are happening soon.
The Jubilant Commonwealth Choir is looking for 120 singers from Commonwealth countries to perform on the river as part of the spectacular 1,000-boat flotilla, from Putney to Tower Bridge. Perform to The Queen and other members of the Royal Family, who will watch from aboard the Royal Barge, while an audience of hundreds of millions from around the world view the Pageant via the television.
Rehearsals are to be held in central London on 28 February (6.30-9.00pm), 29 February (7.00-10.00pm), 14 &15 April (11.00am-5.00pm), followed by weekly rehearsals on Tuesday nights (17 April – 29 May). Places are limited and auditions may be necessary. All those 18 years and over welcome to apply.
