Kiwi youth needed to represent New Zealand at Commonwealth Day, London

The New Zealand Branch of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) is seeking expressions of interest from young New Zealanders who are interested in representing New Zealand at Commonwealth Day in London on Monday 11 March 2013.

The High Commissioner, to the UK and Ireland, Derek Leask is leaving this month. He will be sorely missed here - his leadership and commitment to furthering New Zealand’s interests has been outstanding.

Kiwi House is the centre for all things ‘Kiwi’ during the Olympics - the site is open to athletes, officials and the public.

Situated in the heart of Kings Cross within Central St Martins College, Kiwi House is a short walk from the Javelin Train terminal in St Pancras which will take visitors directly to the Olympic Park in Stratford in six minutes.

The UK Metropolitan Police Service have advised that they have concerns about a number of fraudulent websites offering tickets for the London Olympic and Paralympic Games. The High Commission recommends following NZ Police advice; that anyone in New Zealand who has used the sites in question report concerns to the NZ Police. For further information please click here.

If you are unsure whether a website is authorised to sell you a ticket, use the London 2012 website checker here.
