New Zealand Embassy Washington donates to US Marine Corps Reserves’ Toys for Tots drive

Dr Anthony Smith, Acting Deputy Chief of Mission, accepts a certificate of appreciation from US Marines in the Toys for Tots programme.

New Zealand Embassy employees organised a toy drive to support the US Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots programme.  The programme collects new, unwrapped toys during the months of October, November and December each year, and distributes them as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the local community. The programme helps thousands of families around the United States.
