NZ opera sensation impresses in D.C
New Zealand opera star Teddy Tahu Rhodes is currently performing at the Kennedy Centre in Washington D.C.
Playing the part of the Count in the 'Marriage of Figaro', Rhodes was recently described by Washington Post reporter Anne Midgette as a performer who "oozed star quality".
"If you had to pick the most prominent singer onstage... Rhodes would have been the one you figured," wrote Midgette in her 26 April 2010 review.
The show runs until 7 May 2010.
