“Australia, Brunei Darussalam, Chile, Malaysia, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore, the United States of America and Viet Nam today welcomed Mexico as a new participant in negotiations to conclude a Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) agreement.

Ambassador Mike Moore welcomed 15 U.S. East Asia and Pacific Summer Institutes (EAPSI) fellows destined for New Zealand to his residence this Monday for a New Zealand Embassy reception. The fellows were in town for the EAPSI 2012 pre-departure orientation which included attendees such as fellows, alumni, foreign counterparts from seven host locations, guest speakers, and National Science Foundation (NSF) staff.

On Friday, 23 March, Ambassador Mike Moore met with NASA and YouTube’s Space Lab regional winners from New Zealand, Patrick Zeng, 17, and Derek Chan, 16. The two students, escorted by their parents, travelled from Auckland and were one of six teams to visit Washington, DC for an awards ceremony.
