Team Administrator (Property)

The New Zealand High Commission, Port Vila, has a vacancy for the position of Team Administrator (Property).

The position is responsible for the efficient and effective management of the High Commission’s  property, vehicles and other assets. The position also provides support to ensure the safety and security of staff and properties, and may be required to undertake or provide back-up in a range of other activities in support of the High Commission’s operational objectives.

The successful applicant will have had several years experience in an administrative role and be able to demonstrate experience in property management and procurement. Excellent computer skills are required.  Applicants must also be able to demonstrate a high standard of organisational and administrative skills, excellent communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively and supportively in a team environment.  Hands on experience with property maintenance and some mechanical ability would be helpful.

The successful applicant must have the right to work legally in Vanuatu.  Excellent English and good Bislama language skills are required.
