New Immigration Fees

From Monday 29 November 2010, a new fee schedule will apply to the provision of New Zealand Immigration visa processing services. Different fees are payable for visa applications based on citizenship of the principal applicant. For Vanuatu and other Pacific Island passport holders, the New Zealand High Commission is advising persons wishing to travel to New Zealand of the following fee changes;

Visitor Visa:  8,030VT

Student Visa:  12,410VT

RSE Limited Purpose Visa:  14,600VT

Work Visa: Work Partnership:  22,630VT

Work Visa: Other:  14,600VT

Transit Visa:  9,490VT (Not for Vanuatu)

Group Visa:  5,110VT

Other nationalities should check with the High Commission or refer to the NZ Immigration website for correct fees.

With regards to travel this festive season, is advisable for anyone intending to travel between Monday 20 December 2010 and Monday 10 January 2011 to lodge their applications with the New Zealand High Commission no later than Friday 10 December 2010. Please be advised that applications received from Monday 13 December 2010 will not be processed untill Monday 10 January 2011.

In addition, all New Zealand and British nationals residing in Vanuatu are advised to call 22933 to obtain the After Hours Duty Officer's telephone number in the event of a consular emergency during the festive season.
