Highly Successful Pacific Partnership Exercise Concludes

The highly successful "Pacific Partnership Exercise 2011" has concluded on Santo, Vanuatu.  The exercise involved a variety of humanitarian and disaster response activities including rebuilding and refurbishing schools, the provision of toilets, water tanks and water supply systems, medical clinics, surgeries and dentistry, and disaster response training.  Now in its sixth year, Pacific Partnership 2011 is aimed at strengthening regional relationships with nations that might be called upon to respond to natural or humanitarian disasters in the region.   Countries involved in the multilateral activity include, United States, New Zealand, Australia, France and Japan.
