Travel Advisory: Volcanic Activity on Tanna

On 1 June 2011, as a result of increasing activity at the Mount Yasur Volcano on the island of Tanna, Vanuatu authorities raised the volcanic alert hazard rating to Level Three. A 500 metre exclusion zone is in place and visitors are advised to stay away from the volcano until further notice.
