New Zealand Ambassador to Viet Nam

The New Zealand Ambassador to Viet Nam is accredited to Viet Nam.

Heather Riddell joined the New Zealand Embassy in Viet Nam as Ambassador in August 2009, replacing Dr James Kember. Heather joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade in 1981 and has been posted previously in Australia, Solomon Islands, Korea, New Caledonia, and to the Permanent Mission to the UN in Geneva.

In Wellington she has worked in a range of policy roles, most recently as Director of Pacific Division and previously in North Asia, United Nations and Development Assistance Divisions.
