ASEAN Flagship Programmes
New Zealand also provides development assistance to Viet Nam through the ASEAN Flagship Programmes. These flagship programmes lie at the heart of New Zealand's commitment to ASEAN. The four flagships are:
1. Disaster Risk Management
2. New Zealand-ASEAN Scholars
3. Agricultural Diplomacy
4. Young Business Leaders Initiative

The New Zealand - ASEAN flagships' initiatives were launched by the New Zealand Minister of Foreign Affairs in July 2010 and new bilateral and regional activities are under development for all four flagships.
