Head of Mission Fund

Recognising that small, community groups find it difficult to access funding, the New Zealand Aid Programme provides resources to a Head of Mission Fund (HOMF) managed by the New Zealand Embassy. The HOMF is targeted at alleviating poverty and/or improving living standards, particularly those of women, children and ethnic minorities. Initiatives are welcomed from urban and rural projects. Preference is given to areas of New Zealand engagement (Binh Dinh and Gia Lai provinces in particular) and to organisations which have a track record of successful utilisation of HOMF. A grant of up to USD 10,000 is available for HOMF initiatives.
